Vibration Analysis Training Certification is a great way to ensure that employees have at least a minimum level of competency.
EnVibe partners with Zenco for Vibration Analysis Training, therefore Zenco is the certifying authority.
Zencos’ Category 1, 2 and 3 vibration analysis training courses meet and exceed the requirements of ISO 18436-2. Zenco does its best to follow the rules and recommendations put forth in the applicable ISO standards with more than 30 years experience in training and certification. There has never been a problem with an employer not recognizing Zenco’s certifications.
Zenco adheres to the highest ethical standards. Exams are tightly controlled, questions are randomized. No one outside of Zenco has access to exam materials. With our testing structure, the goal is to make our analysts more successful in their roles—we are committed to providing the best training at the best price.
Vibration Analysis Training Certification Requirements
Anyone may take any of the courses and exams. If you pass the course and exam, you will receive a certificate acknowledging that you have done so. When and if you meet the requirements for certification, just let us know and we will send you your certification. In other words, you may take the courses and exams BEFORE you meet the requirements for certification.
When you register for one of the courses, we will ask you to fill out a short form describing your work history. We will ask you for contact information for a supervisor or HR person that can confirm your experience. We never share this information with anyone!
If you are interested in certification, here are the rules:
Vibration Analysis Training Category 1: No prior experience required. 6 months experience for certification.
Vibration Analysis Training Category 2: No prior experience required however, Cat 1 certification is highly recommended! 12 months experience for certification.
Vibration Analysis Training Category 3: Category 2 certification is required before you can certify at Cat 3. 36 months experience for certification.
Exam re-take pricing in USD*
Cat 1: $300. Cat 2: $400. Cat 3: $450
You must wait at least 30 days after your last certification exam to re-take the exam. You may not take the exam more than 3 times in a calendar year.
If you schedule your exam re-sit to coincide with a scheduled (virtual) course, you may join the exam review session for free if there is one.

Course re-sit pricing*
If you have failed the exam and would like to re-sit the course you may do so at approximately half the going price. It might vary slightly depending upon the type of course (live or virtual) and who is hosting it. If you schedule your exam re-sit to coincide with a scheduled (virtual) course, you may join the exam review session for free if there is one. Please contact us for exact pricing.
Recertification pricing*
Your certification expires after 5 years. To get recertified you simply must prove that you are still actively working in the field of vibration analysis. Send us an email with an update of your work situation and an email address for a supervisor or HR person who can verify it.
If your certification renewal lapses, you will need to re take the exam to renew your certification. The exam re-take cost is separate.
